Tempo Ruim? Bad Weather?

Essa tela foi a primeira que fiz um efeito muito utilizado nas pinturas a óleo. Um mix de tons que combinado com as pinceladas dá um efeito muito bonito.
Confesso que nunca tinha tentado esta técnica, e gostei muito. Ela dá um efeito de realismo muito legal e, em contraste com meu estilo de pintura, fica ainda mais interessante.

This painting was the first I made an effect that is widely used in oil paintings. A mix of tones combined with brush strokes gives a very nice effect.
I confess that I had never tried this technique, and really enjoyed it. It gives a very cool effect of realism and, in contrast to my painting style, it gets even more interesting.

Ukulele

Eu já tinha este ukelele há uns bons anos e sempre olhava pra ele e dizia: Um dia vou te pintar!
E o dia chegou...
Nunca tinha pintado um instrumento musical e para a primeira vez gostei do resultado.

Guarda-Chuva - Umbrella

De novo o dualismo aparece em minha pintura, desta vez dando destaque para um guarda-chuva, que ao mesmo tempo que protege contra o mau tempo, cria uma janela para um lugar calmo e tranquilo.
Uma tela com dimensões bem legais, 120 cm por 90 cm.
Os quadrados preto e branco e os retalhos também apareceram, pra variar!

Era pra ser um passatempo... - It was to be just for fun...

As vezes quando termino uma tela fico uns dias (até semanas) sem ter ideia alguma para a próxima...
É o "problema" de pintar somente com desenhos próprios e inéditos.
Então, depois de terminar a última pintura fiquei pensando qual iria ser a próxima a ser criada... e não veio nenhuma ideia interessante...
Olhando meu caderno de rascunhos encontrei um desenho que fiz ano passado e não tive dúvida.
Vou fazer uma tela pra mim e apenas para passar o tempo enquanto não me vem a inspiração.
Mas....

Tão logo após algumas pinceladas surgiram começou a surgir uma tela muito legal, que me encantou.
E veio a ideia então: vou fazer uma série, com o Rei, a Rainha, o Valete e o Curinga !
Tenho certeza que vai ficar muito legal!

Sometimes when I finish a canvas I stand a few days (even weeks) without having any idea to the next one ...
It is the "problem" to paint only with your own and unpublished drawings.
Then, after finishing the last painting I was wondering what would be the next to be created ... and none interesting idea came to me ...
Looking at my sketchbook I found a drawing I did last year and I had no doubt.
I will make a painting for me and just to pass the time while I don´t have a new inspiration.
However
After a few strokes have emerged it started to appear a very nice screen, which delighted me.
And then came the idea: I will make a series, with the King, the Queen, the Jack and the Joker!
I'm sure it will be very cool!

Cidade/Campo de novo - City/Country Again

Pois é, mais uma vez uso dos temas cidade e campo, mas desta vez sob uma nova perspectiva.
Fugi um pouco da visão comum, brincando com ponto de vistas extravagantes.
Também a primeira vez que faço quadriculados que não em preto e branco, e até que gostei do resultado.
Esta é a segunda tela de 2015, e pelo jeito esse ano vai ser bem produtivo!

O ano de 2015 começa com novas perspectivas e junto com ele a vontade de criar mais e mais telas!
Começo este ano com uma tela cujo tema gosto muito, a dualidade entre o campo e a cidade.
Aliás, se repararem bem todas as minhas telas trazem essas dualidades, esses antagonismos.

Favela - Shantytowns

Há um bom tempo penso em pintar uma favela, daquelas que ficam em morros.
Apesar da precariedade das moradias, é inegável que há uma certa beleza em sua visão, especialmente pelas casas coloridas.
Esta tela em particular deu um trabalho grande pra fazer, desde os desenhos iniciais até o seu término. A quantidade de detalhes, cores e sombras foi muito grande...
Gostei muito desta tela, mas não pretendo pintar outra favela tão cedo ! rs

For several weeks I have thought about painting a slum, those located on hillsides, like Rio de Janeiro.
Despite the precarious nature of living, it is undeniable that there is a certain beauty in his vision, especially the colorful houses.
This painting in particular gave me a lot work to do it, from initial sketches to its end. The amount of details, color and shading was incredible.
I really liked it, but I do not intend to paint another slum soon! rs

Cidade ou Campo? - City or Country

Já falei por aqui que gosto muito de pintar cenas antagônicas, creio que traz uma certa sensação de bem estar, de alegria...
Coloquei, desta vez, uma cena de campo ao lado de uma cidade. O campo com seus prazeres, sua calma e tranquilidade, relembrando da infância com um balanço de pneu.
A cidade com seus prédios, postes, fios...
As cores vivas sempre presente.

Abaporú - Tarsila do Amaral

Quem não conhece a famosa pintura Abaporú, da artista brasileira Tarsila do Amaral? se não for o mais conhecido, está entre os mais, e até onde sei é a obra mais cara já vendida no Brasil.
São infinitas as suas releituras, e tomando o tema do tereré, bebida típica aqui de Mato Grosso do Sul e Paraguai, fiz a minha versão.
Espero que gostem, eu gostei muito do resultado final!
